@snipercutie251: There are very few artists whose music becomes the soundtrack of an entire lifetime. For me, that artist has always been Barry Manilow. His songs have been there through life’s greatest joys, heartbreaks, laughter, tears, and even moments of falling in love. Somehow, his music always seemed to say exactly what my heart was feeling. Knowing this was Barry’s final concert in Newark made the evening even more emotional. Looking around the arena, I saw thousands of people of every age singing every word, dancing as if no one were watching, smiling at strangers, and sharing the same memories. For a couple of hours, we weren’t just an audience, we were a family brought together by the music that has been the soundtrack of our lives. Barry, thank you for sharing your extraordinary gift with the world and for giving so many of us a lifetime of memories. Thank you for being there through every chapter of my life and for reminding us that music has the power to heal, comfort, celebrate, and bring people together. I feel incredibly grateful to have been part of your musical journey for so many years. While this may have been your last concert in Newark, your music will forever be the soundtrack to so many chapters of my life.
