israel doesn't need to exist for jewish people to live in palestine. jewish people have always lived on palestine. israel shouldn't exist. just like the US shouldn't exist. zionism is evil. inherently. israel doesn't have the capacity to be peaceful or good. the white jewish people born in palestine, occupied or not, and don't believe they are superior to the indigenous people of the land have a right to stay there. the settlers and those ideologically invested in israel and zionism simply can't, because that would fully prevent the rebuilding of a peaceful, new palestine. most of them CAN go back to their actual ancestral homes in europe and as european we have a responsibility to make sure they can live here safely. in the ideal world, the same could happen for north america, but it's too big and too old. the easiest solution would be a rehabilitation of ideologically mind fucked colonialists, but that requires a level of willingness to cooperation they will never show. but palestinians have no obligation to be welcoming of evil people, to their murderers and rapists in T H E I R land, just because they also happen to be of a monority that mostly the whites oppress.

Probably good to take a break. This somehow became a half dozen non sequiturs about your feelings, in response to someone else on this app having strong feelings (that aren’t directed at you). Is your point just that antisemitism and bigotry exists among the broader left (not a revelation)? Or are sort of making a liberal zionist case for a two state solution?

Two of my great grandparents met at a conference for the Manhattan Project (where we decided to nuke two Japanese cities). I wish that it weren’t that place that they met, and I can’t go back in time to change that, but whether I like it or not, it’s one of the reasons for my birth and there’s nothing I can do about it. And just like what you said about your grandmother and Zionism, that’s not an endorsement, just an explanation.
