When I fosters kittens the bathroom was the perfect place for them. I did let them roam pretty early in their journey with me and they quickly did not like staying in the bathroom. Eventually they were free roaming the entire house without enclosed in the bathroom. It worked for us.

Bathrooms are a kittens dream. It's like a giant obstacle course for them and it helps them to get their kitten energy out. Bathrooms are also dark and a little wet/damp so it feels like a cave to them and it gives them many places to hide and explore.

I’ve fostered many pups, but very few cats or kittens. A few years ago a friend called me to help trap a mama kitty and her 4 babies, born in a grocery store warehouse. I fostered them in a spare bedroom until they were all homed. I had to replace the carpet and the curtains! Bathrooms with soft furnishings are a far better idea when the babies are feral and prone to a few accidents. Love your content, thank you!

everytime I have gotten a new kitten they have always spent 2-8 days in the bathroom one for acclamation and also for potty training and that came from the shelters, humane society, the Vet as a good place another is a a Mud room
