With over 100 plants in my home, (yes ive an addiction) I've learned to tackle pest problems head-on. Five years ago, I faced a huge fungus gnat infestation that seemed impossible to conquer. Nematodes helped, but only temporarily and the cost is huge where I live anyway. That's when I discovered the secret to keeping fungus gnats at bay: Leca clay balls. By placing them on top of the soil about two deep, I created an environment that was inhospitable to the gnats. It took about five weeks for the infestation to clear up, but the results were well worth the wait. I've been fungus gnat-free for over five years now, and I've helped others achieve the same success. If you're struggling with these pesky pests, and keep having to purchase nematodes every couple years consider giving Leca clay balls a try. It’s a one time purchase and a lifetime gnat free 😃
