Every time I see comments about China's unemployment rate, I want to clarify that unemployment in China doesn't mean you can't find a job. For example, there's a shortage of workers in blue-collar jobs, welders, electricians, mechanics, mold makers, or even in ordinary factories, warehouses, delivery services, ride-hailing services, customer service, insurance, and service jobs. It's just that most people are unwilling to do these jobs, including myself. So that's the crux of the matter. In some places, unemployment means you genuinely can't find a job, with almost no options. This isn't the case in China.
