@valtheestateplanner: The cheapest estate plan is often the most expensive mistake your family inherits. ☕️🫖👀 #EstatePlanning #WillsAndTrusts #Probate #ProtectYourFamily #Inheritancedrama This is not legal advice, consult with an attorney in your jurisdiction
Do you have a recommendation for an attorney licensed in Virginia?

Melody Monarch :
I have so many questions about finding a good trust estate planning who knows how to do it right. I’ve interviewed three of them and some seem so vague and not personable . One seems so expensive and offered very little. My question is what are some of the questions we asked to make sure we know they’re doing it right. It feels like I have to educate myself and order test the right question to make sure they’re knowledgeable. Just because they’re an attorney/lawyer doesn’t mean they’re good.

I work with so many families who don’t have these things in place and my very first recommendation is to get to the attorney yesterday! Money on the front end always saves money and sanity on the back end.

So valuable information. Your transparency and knowledge is so appreciated. I want to have a trust for making sure my son doesn’t go to probate about the house I am planning to give him.

Great information AND people really don't understand how much it costs if they DON'T do it right! it can be 3 or 4 times what it would've cost to do it right!

I was told a handwritten Will dated with signature will be enough in Louisiana. Is this true?
