@spicybrainchemicals: Update on the new rescue, now named Sasha. She had a brief soak today to encourage her to drink. She did eat a good bit of roaches and some veggies today. They get a lot of their hydration from their food, so I’m glad she ate well today. She’s getting a little less wrinkly, which means she’s slowly starting to bulk up some and not as dehydrated as she was. She’s still not handling holding onto things or climbing super well. She may just be weak still from recovering or the MBD is that bad. As you can see in the video, I have to keep my hand by her if she’s on a branch, because she’s very unstable. I held her on my shirt earlier and I have to keep one hand over her back and lean backwards or she’ll start to slide right off. Bearded dragons should be able to hold onto things with ease. She’s less lethargic than she was, but she’s got a ways to go. Total sweetheart, though. ❤️ #reptilerescue #beardeddragon #metabolicbonedisease #mbd #reptiles
