What does the word "book" represent? I had a student years ago say "rubber gloves" when he was sad or anxious. He was allergic to latex and taught that rubber gloves would be harmful to him. Ethan says the word "book" I'm just curious of the origin

We say safe hands, safe feet and safe mouth for our kid. He is a teenager too with echolalia and his favorite thing now is to tell people they are going to jail.

It’s sad to see people in the comments say “he’s pretty verbal” as a mom who’s son is non verbal with echolalia yes words are said especially repeating but he doesn’t have conversations or speak and say what he really wants.
