I’m obsessed with my SI belt, especially for long walks. I constantly have SI pain and it helps so much!

I’m undiagnosed, but have suspicions about hEDS. My SI joint has ached for months. I put an SI belt on for the first time yesterday and have never felt so stable. My feet, knees, and back popped like crazy every time I moved, but the relief was worth it.

I’m worried it will make my muscles/ligaments even weaker because i’m basically using it as an exoskeleton, no?

They don’t stay on though. They slide up with any movement.

I’m sure there are other comments asking—any chance I could get brand recommendations or links? Overwhelmed with choices on Amazon (to the point where I’ll give up looking— it’s been on my radar for months— I need to feel better!). Thanks so much!

Could hEDS be the reason I’ve never been able to run properly or do monkey bars/climbing rope?

My problem is that I have an apron belly so the belt folds and becomes painful on my skin (even through clothing) or shifts around to the point that it’s not effective

ok stop telling us WHY and show us HOW its worn!! I can't fucking figure out positioning of the damn belt and no one shows how to wear it, where it's supposed to be felt, what it lines up with, etc!

I want to know how to wear it and what “symptomatic” would mean because I’m just me and I always feel like shit.

someone once recommended wrapping it around my thighs for car rides. I do the same thing at my desk on bad days too. using it this way has completely changed my life

Can you tell us how where to find plus-size ones? As someone with Lipedema and EDS this is such a difficult find.

I know I am hypermobile (currently trying to find out if it is EDS) and everything is have symptomwise i only know is not normal due to social media… so i kinda don’t know what symptomatic means cause everything is so normal for me and I don’t know it any other way. Its kinda weird cause it has been my normal

I once used Ace wraps on my thighs and one on my lower hips. It felt AMAZING. I didn't know about SI joint issues with HSD, but now I get why it felt so relieving

My serola belt is such a huge help. Especially when my hormones are extra mess with my connective tissue at different times in the month. Sleeping in it makes such a difference

My hips are my most stable joint but long car rides get to me. A while back the PT used a theraband for an improvised SI belt and I travel with it in case of emergency
