Not to downplay the significance of peace, but those who truly understand the benefits thereof know that maybe your youth isn’t written in your skin. Maybe, it’s actually written in your spirit, as some people grow younger over time from the inside, out. Less resentment equals less tension, being betrayed doesn’t mean you forever lose a sense of trust, sadness doesn’t mean you lose your ability to smile. Maybe that’s why some rare people with fewer emotional burdens, well, their smile actually feels more genuine. Growing older is inevitable. Growing bitter is optional. No one escapes aging, but not everyone carries the same weight throughout life. So, isn’t it time to put the emotional weights and burdens down? After all, it’s so much better to carry a sense of curiosity, instead of a sense of exhaustion. Just sayin’.
