or don't tell who is the villain and when the story continues... there is a shock moment when the MC is revealed to be the villain 🙃🙃 like in the "good place" when they show that Michael is the villain...

Great way to make a villain that feels interesting is to not give them a completely opposite goal. Have a villain with the exact same goal as the group. Just a very very different way of doing it. Depending on the group you can always tweak it a little, either a serious "I will fix the world by any means necessary" Thanos type of guy, or a friendly NPC companion who just doesn't share the same morals as the group (bonus points if they're actually needed to stop whatever cosmic threat is happening this week), ranging from "man that's kinda fucked up what you just did" to "maybe the world isn't really worth saving that much if this guy is going to be part of it"
