Look into sci/ tbi physical therapy places near you. My son goes to a nonprofit physical therapy place called Pushing Boundaries in Washington. They have all the latest equipment including the exoskeleton, lokomat, FES and the Arc Ex.

Girl best bet is crowd funding. I had to raised 70k for my robotic leg. I have 3 different insurances from ssi to private to va and none of them would cover a dime.

Hey so I went to a well known sci hospital/rehab called Craig! It’s in Denver,Colorado. They off in & out patient services which include an exoskeleton! In my time there I hadn’t reached the capability of being in one but they have multiple exoskeletons there! Definitely worth looking in to!

Medicare covers the exoskeleton. Not the New York one but one of the other brands.

I would reach out to a bunch of physical therapy schools locally to you. I’m a physical therapist in North Carolina, and when I was in school, one of the really rich colleges in the state had an exoskeleton and invited people with SCI from the community to try

I'm learning that if you're "incomplete" insurance may cover, but typically if you're "complete" it won't be covered and you need to pay out of pocket. I'm also only 6 months into this new journey with my son.

Girl, you should really check out the Perfect Step. They have a few machines with advanced technology, similar to what you’re talking about! usually all first time clients qualify for a grant
