Starting to learn some python even revived a terrible laptop with Linux mint, genuinely intrigued by all this but I’ve a question, I have a cheap ish soldering iron I managed to build a couple drones with I had great struggle with the thicker pads/cables, do most of these builds have tiny pads? Don’t feel like spending money for another iron

the dfplayer is practically the whole thing why don't you make the mp3 code run on the esp32? it's got plenty power to do so and it would allow you to use an I2S interface to use any kind of DAC thus better output and modularity

How’s the audio quality? I thought the DF Player mini was only Mono Audio? I was going to make a mp3 player nearly exactly like this but decided not to because of potential lack of sound quality.
