Why are we not doing an interceptive extraction to let the second molar drift forward and close the space?! Genuinely curious as that is what we would do in the UK.

I’m guess you realise extraction would have been a better long term solution. Furcation in the second molar just starting, it would likely move forwards into the space created by removing the first permanent molar.

Genuine question and I’m not trying to come off as disrespectful or rude in anyway, but why wouldn’t you do a 7140 and a molar switch with 31? And in the event that she has her third molars developing, it would be ideal for an 8 year old. Another question, is are there future plans to place an scc on 30 ?
