my dad disliked both so he just sent me alone and waited outside, then we'd basically have a yelling match cuz he checked if im ok every 5 seconds, at that point usually people just told him to accompany me inside so we'd both shut up

my dad has social anxiety and he was to scared to go in the women's restroom with me cause he thought he would get called a bad father so he asked a Walmart employee to wait outside my stall while I used the restroom and to please make sure I washed my hands properly. I literally love him so much for this

I always defend family bathrooms so hard cause once I had a dad ask me to take his 2yo to the bathroom for him and like I’m not a creep so it was fine but what if he had asked someone who was a creep??? I was alone with his kid. And he didn’t want to enter the women’s bathroom cause he was super uncomfortable but he didn’t want his daughter to go into the men’s bathroom cause that’s even worse

Hey so idk about every province but I think that across Canada they have baby changing stations in the men’s bathroom and there has never been any reports of anything happening.

to any and all dads with girls, i promise you all you need to do is cover your eyes, open the door and say “hey my daughter needs to pee so im coming in!” And thats all, then uncover your eyes after a few seconds, and simple as that just look at your child the whole time, i promise women will not freak out! As long as you arent being creepy with anyone in the bathroom, theres no problem 🤍
