@amt.tutoring: ✈️ Maintenance Tip Monday Every aircraft flight control cable deserves a thorough inspection. These cables directly transfer pilot control inputs to the aircraft’s flight controls, making them one of the most critical systems on the aircraft. When performing an inspection, remember these three key areas: ✅ Broken wires or damaged strands ✅ Corrosion, rust, or pitting ✅ The entire cable system—including pulleys, fairleads, routing, cable tension, and properly safetied turnbuckles As an Aviation Maintenance Technician, don’t just inspect the cable—inspect the entire system. This is exactly the type of maintenance knowledge the FAA expects every A&P applicant to understand for the Written, Oral, and Practical exams. Need help preparing for your FAA exams? I’ve helped over 100 aviation maintenance applicants with one-on-one tutoring and maintain a 90% pass rate. 📩 Send me “PASS” to learn more, and be sure to check out my client testimonial reels!
