@farmerjessjones: Rhythm is the sweetest horse 🥺 this was after she told me she has a sore muscle. It would have been very easy to quickly interpret her behaviour (before filming this video) as her being 'in a mood.’ When we insist certain signals 'always' mean the same thing (without considering context), we miss what is plainly in front of us... because we're not really listening. In modern society we're often rewarded for having quick opinions, answers and responses - but interpretation is only as good as the quality of observation. Everyone communicates differently, because the way we experience the world is different - shaped by our personal experiences, personality, confidence levels and culture. The way we communicate reflects not only 'who we are' but 'what we've lived through.’ Often when we hear information, we instinctively think "what does this mean for me?" instead of putting our own agendas aside (our need to be right, to solve or compare). Someone willing to show "I'm here" is such a simple act of love...
