@ryanmontbleau: When I wrote “Time and Again” I remember had just come home from seeing Josh Ritter live and was feeling inspired. The studio track was captured in New Orleans for the “I Was Just Leaving” record and I believe what you hear is my second take. I barely knew the tape was running. I thought Anders Osborne was nuts for wanting to make it the keeper. (I screwed up the chorus!) But he was right. It had the vibe, told the story. Sometimes polish can be poisonous, I needed a good producer to teach me that.
