Keep in mind that the Overlords' strength also comes from people's support. After S2, nobody really supports Al and he's eternally wounded. So he's still weaker than he used to be.

Actually… some foresight people miss. Alastor is not the strongest even before Vox, the True strongest Sinner is Lucifer. Because he cannot die from normal means, demon or Angel, He is a Fallen Arch Angel. Gods first sun, this is why Hell burns or represented by fire. Alastor is intelligent, But he is foolishly small minded compared to the four horseman, Seven Deadly sins and the Plagues of Humanity. But I am certain Rosie is a coverup. Why would she the strongest sinner in Hell? Strength does not always mean who can hit harder, it’s the ability to outsmart the other which Lucifer despite his characters naiveness, He is actually very capable of breaking a deal. But doesn’t due to Lilith’s condition to be married.

There seems to be a clear deliniation in Hell between Sinners, Hellborne, Overlords and Demon Royalty. Alistor got an initial power boost being the strongest “SINNER” but capped his limit unknowingly. That’s why he was pissed, and why he got stronger as soon as he broke the deal

Isn’t the whole deal to be the strongest sinner in hell so if zestial stronger then Alastor, then there no deal in the first place, so no zestial isn’t stronger unless he is not a sinner to begin with

Maybe I’m wrong but don’t they just come back to life if they are killed by another hellion? Like only and angel can permakill and the exterminations aren’t that old so “surviving” a long time in hell isn’t really as impressive as the amount of people you can kill even if they come back, being stronger just means no one can beat you in a fight. Like Zestial being “old” isn’t necessarily impressive but maybe in the past he’s killed a bunch of ppl that tried to kill him?
