Silly question - do you film on your back camera or selfie camera

Just a heads up to never export 30fps clips at 60fps, it doesn’t increase the quality and just means the export has to duplicate frames, which can make it less smooth. A golden rule of editing is always match the export fps to that of the original clips

A photographer/videographer recommended me to record on these settings but then export from CapCut at 1080 to keep quality

Amazing thank you! However I have found exporting with 4K gets me worse quality for short form content as social platforms compress it for me making them look worse!

It’s also because you used the back camera not the selfie

girl i need HELP 😭 i’ve had my settings like this and they look fine until i export them from capcut. when i export from capcut in 4k the quality looks horrible, like someone turned on up the saturation to 100…. so i export in 1040 and then the videos don’t look as crisp

If you’re in Europe here’s how to stop lights flickering (Uk, France, Germany etc or anywhere that uses 50 hz electricity) - make sure you check PAL formats and chose 25fps or 50fps. You’re welcome 🥰

If I don’t export in low quality settings on CapCut TikTok makes it blurry

Except TT and most other platforms degrade vids down to 1080p regardless of how hq you film or export.
