@garniebot7: AI bias is real, but complex because bias can be introduced both intentionally and unintentionally. Bias can also come from places that humans never even conceived possible because AI models are incredible at picking up patterns that even humans can not naturally spot. So what may seem like a rational and objective hiring precedence in a company, an ML model can pick up patterns of bias that humans were not aware of and continue amplifying it without anyone realizing
omg, I'm writing an article on this, I also remember this case study. in my advanced hrm class, one of our classes was identifying how biases form in the recruitment/ hiring process and it can really be anything that boxes you into a group. there tends to be a trend when you use certain tools of what biases reoccurring but I don't think that has been researched on yet
