My dad shaved his beard once and took us to Home Depot (i was like 5, my 2 sisters were 7 & 8) We were sitting down and a security guard asked us are we alone? My dad said that we were his. we proceeded to cry saying our dad has a beard and we don't know him. My mom had to leave work cause we refused to go with him. Mind you he drove us there

My kids used to get to pick dinner… they took turns… they loved it! until second oldest asked very loudly “IS IT MY DAY TO EAT?” I knew what she meant but of course that day I was surrounded by 300 people… we had spaghetti.

When I was little I ruined my Halloween costume so in a hurry my mom took a pillow case, cut eyes into it and made me a “ghost” every single person who said “aww are you a ghost” I would say “no I’m a pillow case” 😭🥲

When my daughter was little she LOVED keeping cardboard boxes. She would get inside and draw in them. She went to school one day and told her teacher she sleeps in a cardboard box. She had a fully decked out princess bedroom btw.

I was in the line-up at a BUSY grocery store one day, and my 7-year-old son said 'I love you Mommy... thank you so much for adopting me'. EVERYONE looked. I explained that he is NOT adopted, he said 'well my big brother told me I was' 🤦🏻♀️#SiblingWars

I'm a preschool teacher and a little girl in my class last year said wow your ring is so pretty where did you get it I told her my husband bought it for me. Then she preceded to look me straight in the eyes and said when my mommy dies I get her ring. I was at a loss for words and all I could say was oh how nice🤣

My bff taught her 4yo to yell "You're hurting me!" when he's being hurt (obvi) but now he says it when he doesn't want to wear shoes (mood) or when he wants to pull a runner and I won't let him. I was so baffled the first time I heard it (I was holding him very loosely in my lap so he couldn't run away into the road as he intended as his mom packed up at the beach) and was like "Where are you hurt tho???"

a teacher almost didn't give me my children because they all look different 🤦🏽♀️she's like are you sure this is your mom? other teachers were like yes that is their mom and yes they are all siblings 🤦🏽♀️Then another kid came over and asked to go home with me. so the teacher started questioning things again lol. other teachers again went no that's not her kid, they ain't related but there will be times said kid does go home with her amongst a few other kids as well.

Every store we stop at, my three year old asks me as we pull into the parking lot, “do I get to come in this time?” Sweet child, I have never left you in the car and never will 😂

My 3rd child had a hard time coping with sensory issues and underwear was a problem. I couldn't find her any that she could tolerate. She told her teacher, "Mummy isn't able to buy me any underwear". I was met at the school gates with 3 huge bags of donated clothes and a food box! They were so worried that I couldn't even afford underwear for my kids and rallied to put things together for us, bless them. I had to explain I could afford underwear, I just couldn't find any my daughter would tolerate😂 (they allowed us to take all the underwear so we could try them- we found 4 pairs!)
