This is how my mom found out my sister could read. She brought my mom the newspaper saying “Tylenol bad”.

The story came up at work because one of my coworkers asked why almost every drink had a seal over it. So I told her about the Tylenol murders and because of that they started implementing tamper safe seals starting with over-the-counter medication and then soon spread to other things across the board. I was born in the 90s so I grew up watching the stories on true crime TV shows. But anybody born in the later 2000s really doesn't know anything about this story.
