But yesterday I realized the chickens officially figured out how to sneak around the shed and into the garden. If you’ve ever owned chickens, you know they can undo months of work in an afternoon. I had about 20 minutes before I had to leave, a couple of pallets, and zero time to build the fence that’s actually on my project list. So this was today’s solution. Sometimes homesteading isn’t about the prettiest fix—it’s about protecting your tomatoes until you have time to do it right. A more permanent temporary fence is coming… but for now, this wonderfully chaotic pallet masterpiece is doing its job. 😂 #homestead #homesteading #gardening #gardendiy #beginnergardener
