my best friend was an athiest. and when he was dying they gave him double the normal dose of morphine for pain but he refused to close his eyes. he said there were monsters all over the room ready for him to die. he refused. his other friend who was a priest came by and he gave himself to jesus right then and there. he didnt doubt our maker in those moments. and before he died he was explaining it to me how he felt a warmth and safety he had never felt come over him as soon as he accepted jesus. the monsters went away. he didnt die the best way...but i believe God gives us till our last breath and chases us till the very end. But i also know giving yourself to him has to be genuine. Only God knows our hearts in the end.

I watched my uncle die, he was panicking the entire time saying “the devil is right there, he’s going to take me, don’t let him take me.” His nose started bleeding immediately after saying that.. he died a few moments later with a look of fright on his face. It was scary and I’ll never forget that.

My dad told me a story that he saw my grandpa for the last time. He was leaving to work around 3am to catch the metro bus. The streets were completely empty and there was really no one around due to it being so late. My grandpa was on his death bed dying from skin cancer. My dad was passing the 99 cent store and he happened to look in the store , as he did there was grandpa standing there smiling at him , my dad stopped in his steps to make sure he wasn’t being delusional and sure enough he was right there looking at my grandpa. My dad said he immediately he started crying because he knew my grandpa had passed and that was him saying his goodbyes. Sure enough when my dad got to work his boss told him that his wife called to let my dad know that his dad had passed away.

I (my company I owned) remodeled a nursing home 10 years ago and I experienced really weird stuff there early in the morning and late in the afternoon. The nurses always said if you see a tall thin in the doorway or down a specific hallway to just ignore him because he is there for a patient.

My Dad was 46 when he died. He was a Christian. He took his last breath and my Aunt told everyone that he was gone. Out of nowhere,his eyes opened and his head turned towards the ceiling with the biggest smile on his face. He lifted his hand up that had been crippled in the air like someone was grabbing his hand. His body lifted off the bed and than was laid down gently. I know he saw Jesus and went running into Heaven. He had been bed ridden but was healed the moment he passed❤

My great grandma told my grandpa about a week before she passed (he visited her before Christmas),that Jesus had visited her the night before my grandpa had visited her. She continued to tell my grandpa how she was ready now. She passed January first (2011). She was always a strict catholic lady, extremely involved with the church, she never miss a day of church the only time she did miss church was when she was bedridden with cancer. To this day I truly believe she saw Jesus, just the way she described him and how she felt.

My mom told me a story in Hospice about a resident who was mean to a lot of the staff. When he passed everyone on staff felt a gust of heat like an Oven. The theory is when he went the gates of hell opened up to take him.

For days as my grandpa was passing he kept seeing a shadow man with a top hat, crazy thing is that ppl coming to visit would see it periodically too. they would say “who else is here visiting? I just saw someone walk down the hall” My cousin saw it and freaked out because he does not believe in spirits

When I worked in a nursing home an old man told me he kept seeing a devil looking individual in the corner and he would always have mysterious scratches on his arms.. apparently he unalive people in his younger days.

The day that my dad was passing away he had a heart attack and had been brought back. I started praying in my head to god that he please take care of my dad and please keep him safe. My prayers in my head started to turn dark and it didn’t sound anything like me at all. The wording in my head was laughing and taunting me about my dad’s death. I jumped up from my knees and was shaking my head violently to get that voice out of my head. It really scared me because it completely took over my inner voice as I was praying
