☦️ :
She is in huge delusion if she thinks she will live a beautiful life there. The reality for women in Afghanistan under Taliban rule is extremely harsh and completely opposite to what is considered a decent life in the West or America.Even if her husband has the best intentions and promises her safety, the laws of that country are above his will. If she moves, her life will change overnight in ways she cannot even imagine:Complete loss of personal freedom: As a woman from the US, she is used to making her own choices. In Afghanistan, she will not even be allowed to step outside her house without her husband or a male relative (mahram).Total isolation: Women are banned from parks, gyms, restaurants, beauty salons, and almost all public spaces. She will not be able to have a social life or walk freely. Even inside her own home, her voice must not be heard from the outside. No career or education: Even if she has a degree, she will not be allowed to work. The Taliban have banned women from almost all employment, and girls are banned from education past the 6th grade. No legal rights or protection: If anything goes wrong in the marriage, she will have zero legal protection. The legal system is entirely controlled by the Taliban and favors men completely. Getting a divorce or escaping an abusive situation is practically impossible for a woman.A severe mental health crisis: International organizations report extreme levels of depression and hopelessness among women there due to the complete loss of basic human rights. Many women who move to these environments for love realize too late that they are trapped. Once there, her American citizenship won't automatically protect her from local laws, and leaving the country becomes nearly impossible without her husband's permission. She needs to wake up before it is too late."
