Late comment but if you haven’t already tossed it- i’d save the line that came prespooled on there. I re-strung my baitcaster with some 20lb braid (believe it had 12lb mono) and ended up saving the mono for tying prerigged hooks and lures, also never hurts to have extra line even though it’s cheap. best of luck and have fun man!
