@buddhism066: Saifukuji Temple in Kagoshima Japan is a Shingon Esoteric Buddhist temple where anyone regardless of religion can practice the sacred goma fire ritual. The goma prayer is performed daily at 10:30am by the head priest Ikeguchi Gozen who chants mantras in Sanskrit to communicate with the Buddhas. In Shingon Buddhism, chanting mantra is a way to become one with Dainichi Nyorai, the universe itself. The temple is also home to the Great Benzaiten-sama. There are days when the goma prayer is not held due to Koyasan business trips. For the daily devotion schedule, please visit the homepage of the Grand Head Temple Eboshiyama Saifukuji. #foryoupage #fyp #buddhism #buddha #viral

I love Buddhism because it helped me understand what I was searching for after my spiritual awakening -not another belief, but a deeper awareness of the mind, perception and life itself.
