That happened to me once and I noticed on the drop in. I realize that I got a little loose I was pushing it towards me so much and then I wrote it again. Another time when I went to Busch Gardens and it’s just supposed to be like that.

Hey so as a coaster nerd there are multiple safety mechanisms on a restraints such as locks,backup locks,and even a extra lock for fun and clearly your restraint isn’t coming fully up so no your restraint didn’t unlatch completely. (If u have any questions about coaster safety I will try my best to answer them)

As a former ride op no it didn’t unlatch the reason it’s moving is because it’s most likely ratchet locked and they will pretty much always have a little bit of give in the lock it’s perfectly safe and the don’t open without the operator making it open or it breaking but that’s why there’s the strap
