Do you really think that if he had used his family's money, he'd have ended up in a company where he was/is mistreated and had to compete on a survival show that didn't guarantee him a debut at all? Do you think that if he'd bought his way in, he'd be the member with the fewest lines, the least screen time, or barely get any posts on the group's social media? Treating him as someone who had everything handed to him completely ignores the fact that he had to earn everything on his own. nepotism in the entertainment industry is when parents of the celeb have a lot of usual connections - annies extended family quite literally runs sk, ricky? participated on a korean survival show as a chinese contestant - his family is not known to have strong industry connections and are only known to be wealthy - which applies to most kpop idols like jin, jennie, tzuyu, most of meovv etc
