people who say Nishinoya should have gone pro don't understand his character at all, like this is someone who went to karasuno because of the uniforms and who (temporarily) quit the club because one of his friends (👀) quit the club as well. Obviously he enjoys volleyball and he's good at it, but it's clear from the very first moment we meet him that it's not his life's passion like it is for Hinata or Kageyama. Not to mention his whole mini arc during the Inarizaki game in which we learn that he enjoys making as many experiences as he can because, as his grandpa taught him, "it's just a big waste". He's an extremely talented player but it was clear that being a professional was not the career path he'd choose in the end
