I prefer this rather than new characters, Look at Genshin and WuWa, most of the characters there got released and got banished to the shadow realm the next patch never to be mentioned or seen again.

Its probably because no one expected these to be whole new characters since stuff like this is a skin in basicly every other gacha game. But i myself like it that they are new chars because im f2p.

I've seen people complaining that they should've been skins but as an f2p I'm so happy I don't have to pay for them because I really do want them and at least this way I can get them.

I'd rather have a themed sp than a skin, its way more f2p friendly. A character you can get with just jades meanwhile a skin you have to swipe. Even if you get unlucky and dont get them now there's always gonna be a rerun eventually.
