Maybe I’m too woke but the comments are INSANE. She’s not even saying that non-Asians can’t wear cultural clothing. She’s just saying to buy them from businesses that are a part of that culture instead of fucking Zara and other fast fashion brands that don’t care about the differences between qipao and ao dai.

I bought this top (cheongsam) at the h&m cause i thought it was cute and i knew it was from Chinese culture i just appreciate this clothing so much its very beautiful as someone whos mixed with Asian and indigenous latin ancestry from my great-grandmother.🥹

People, she is not saying that we are not allowed to wear cultural clothing. She is saying that it should come from an Asian brand and be worn respectfully and appropriately. And if you're bothered by her wearing blue contacts (which look gorg on her btw), you're part of the problem.
