I guarantee neither of my businesses would be where they are without personal branding, and all the data says it’s even more important in 2026. But what personal branding doesn’t mean ❌ is using your account like your personal page. Instead, you want to use yourself to help people connect with, trust and care about your business. You can do this by: ✅ Being a consistent human face to help your business become recognisable and memorable versus every other brand in your niche ✅ Sharing your ‘why’ - have a reason or a story about why you started your business that you can share ✅ Picking a few unique facts about you to help people place who you are e.g. your values, what you care about, what you love, past experiences ✅ Articulate your ‘mission’ - what’s your long-term vision for your business? If you want people to come on the journey with you, they need to know where you are heading. This is particularly important for product businesses and service businesses where you are the product!
