My thing is, the store has already bought a specific amount of plastic that is going to be used or thrown away at some point, it makes no sense to criticize a customer of a cafe rather than the cafe itself for selling plastic materials. Asking for specified things using your own money and getting cancelled for it is crazy😭. Everyone plays a part in plastic consumption but people are acting like you threw trash in the ocean and filmed it… I’m sure criticizing one person rather than the government, local governments etc is so much more productive 😐😐😐

People hating saying it’s excessive waste as of most coffee shops don’t use the same amount of plastic

I understand the issue but like bro people get cancelled over every little thing, like she is human, why does everyone act morally superior. We have plastic everywhere, why don’t you instead get mad at the huge companies producing so much plastic, and no practicing sustainability

Wait. You’re getting canceled for getting matcha at a place using plastic cups? Don’t like ALL coffee shops (like Starbucks) give plastic cups away? Why are we picking and choosing who to cancel?
