my brother thank you for saying it i too live in rural thailand I use around 900 euros a month family of four. the secret is the markets and local shooping for us. Like you sometimes a little more sometimes a little less but quality of life is beyond expectation. God bless you and your family!

I agree with you. Living in Rayong we spend around 39‘000 a month. But some months are less, some months are a bit more. We don‘t cut on enjoying life as i am retired. 🥰🥰 All the best for you and your family ❤️

You're living such a dream!! So happy you could do this while still young and have kids there. How amazing! I have young teens now and I hope that i can spend a few months there if I can retire early. Fingers crossed I like it enough and could spend a few years retired there before coming back to Aus.

Yes, it is a huge difference between living and the small village and living in the city in Thailand on average I spend anywhere from $3000-$4000 per month as a single person. And that’s without drinking alcohol. But I got a couple of expensive hobbies.
