acting like you need to pull them aventurine and robin are mostly dead and unusable if they made skins for them nearly noone would buy them. making them new characters that will have a place in the newer meta will make them more valuable for their fans than skins. besides most of hsr players know to not pull for whatever the Devs pump out if it down benefit Thier account and maintain good 2-3 teams if they're f2p. it's really not that big of a deal because noone is putting a gun to your head and telling you to pull for a new character especially when robin is remeberance meaning that she will probably me a niche support/ sub dps to enhance main dps March for people who didn't pull castorice, mostly because castorice's team is fully done. she might also be a teammate for aglea to take her out of the trenches. so no, it's really not that deep.

I think the designs themselves look quite cute, but for an SP? I feel like the designs are way too summer focused that it feels like hoyo did not care to add in any more fleshed out themes to their designs😭

Your hsr character criticism is valid especially since hsr is far more notorious for repetitive design the same detached sleeves and boring pants for men. I despise it too. But I prefer that they release SP characters instead of selling skins and then create a new character for the sake of adding gacha chars. Hi3 story was so good because it focused on a smaller cast so they had time to develop their character and they simply sold different versions of them. Same with hsr with blade sp, silver wolf sp and soon himeko sp, we got so much of their character development(and their kits are wildly different). Oh nooo but the sp designs are too similar as if it's a skin? That argument is invalid cuz most designs are repetitive in all gacha anyways so might as well get a better developed cast.

THIS IS MY OPINION‼️‼️‼️. Can't argue cuz some people like different stuff, I do like the sp stuff they're doing with this game and I think it's nice they're adding more stuff to one of the important characters and besides Aven and Robin are probably for the summer, instead of doing skins which is not f2p friendly. And for the similar designs, I don't see the similarities, you're just putting every character that has open armpit next to eachother for pearl and Yao Guang, other than colour pallets they're not that same. For the male, wth do you want them to wear besides pants..? People complain about genshin is because it's been a while since a female character have clothes with attached sleeve, the last one probably mavuika.

They *are* skins, I've been saying that all sp's are recycled characters, and people claimed that "they'll get more development", but show me how they'll be developed when they're just summer skins that hoyo wants people to pull for. No wonder Hoyo went off the rails with sp's in Planarcadia
