@taralynforcolorado: Is Aurora censoring public commentary? This seems like an infringement of the first amendment. #aurora #datacenter #firstamendment #constituiton #colorado
26 year resident of Aurora. Thank you for speaking up for us, and Colorado!!!

The water use only matters when it’s for something that doesn’t line their pockets. Honestly I think these drought restrictions are a joke. I ride by the same park in Thornton every morning and the sprinklers are on.

Water is such a red herring when it’s a closed loop system

The bucket of water is almost empty. States are fighting over the Colorado river. The fires around Grand Junction and the Utah border are more important than data centers. I’d like to see that man spend 48 hours living next door to a data center. The noise alone is crazy. The water usage in a drought?!? Insane.

If you oppose modern data centers because of water consumption then you need to oppose 30 other types of businesses that use more. Is aurora ready to oppose new golf courses? I agree Colorado needs to cap high water consumption businesses but let’s say the quiet part outloud, ban all 30.

Everyone should be looking into the bonus clauses of the mayor and the city managers as well as the city council. And if they signed non-disclosure agreement… Because we’re finding that that’s what exactly they have done.

I would say the more redundant the questions the more important it is for the community. I would say that's proof the community opposes the measure or the concern is extremely valid.

What is funny to me is how have we been in such an environmental crisis for amount of years to the point of we need electric vehicles and we need to conserve and we need to do this and the other thing to save our planet! And now all of a sudden, none of that matters and let’s just put in thousands of data centers that not only ruin our water poison. The Earth disturbed the animals and raise temperatures…. make it make sense! We’ve been preached at for how many years that we need to save our planet!!!!
