For years, I thought the solution was more tightening. All my teachers always told me I needed to get stronger. More Kegels. More Mula bandha. More effort. More squeezing. I wasn’t strong enough. Little did I know that after decades of over dripping I ended up with an overactive pelvic floor and chronic back pain. ㅤ Because that’s what most women are told when it comes to pelvic floor and pleasure! ㅤ But what no one talks about is fascia. No one talks about too much tightening actually causes almost the same symptoms as too lax. ㅤ The pelvic floor isn’t just muscles — it’s a fascial web connected to your hips, glutes, inner thighs, and deep core. When that tissue gets tight or stuck, the whole system loses its natural elasticity and responsiveness. ㅤ But instead of tightening more… what my body actually needed was release. Loosen the grip. Nervous system regulation. Fascia release. ㅤ This tiny Pilates ball helped me soften the fascia around my pelvic floor, hips, and deep core — creating space, circulation, and sensation again. It’s one of my clients and students favorite and most underrated tool for pelvic floor! ㅤ And when the pelvic floor can release and recoil naturally, everything changes. It’s not about cuing or gripping is about it working functionally. Just as our whole body when we let it and give all the tools it’s perfect design. ㅤ Sometimes the path to stronger big o’s isn’t more effort. Sometimes it’s learning how to let go. Soften. Co-regulate. Have you tried it? Leave me a 🌹 if you are going to! ㅤ #pelvicfloorhealth #intimacytips #womenswellness #pelvicfloor
