Gurl I'm here for you again 😂 this is what I've done for mine. Basically an acrílic sheet cut to the window size with a hole for the hose. Then velcro the acrilic all around for a perfect seal and the hose sits flush in the hole so you get a plug and play solution amd no air gets in 🥰

You can buy large exhaust fans you can put in your window if that helps

ac is stupid anyways. what about better isolation of entire building? better windows, pvc is bot allowed to be installed? in Croatia old buildings are better at summer, from times of Austria-Hungary, cuz walls are thick, and ceelings are high, so its always cold inside in summer time. they are also protected historical sights, but entire buildings can be adapted for better energy efficiency with eu funds and a tax that every1 in building agrees to pay

I always thought that the voting system with all the co owners in the building was universal ! Can you just put up your ac exhaust as you please in other countries ?

Get the window type AC that can be just in a literal window. That you dont need to drill whole. (Midea- Ushaped window AC)

Look if there is a window kit for the AC unit you have. Mine has exhaust attachment that is long and skinny so the window is only cracked open little bit and the exhaust is attached to it. It is making big difference in efficiency of the AC unit.
