Do you have working air conditioning? My first apartment was advertised with air conditioning and I signed the lease and moved in then realised the aircon just moves air and doesn’t work. My car only just fit in the garage I had to remove the tow ball and there’s no other parking.

The house has a main water shutoff, most likely near your front hose spigot. If it’s the washing machine hose threads that are leaking, get thread tape for it. You turn off water, open faucets, then unscrew
