@rochellekingandrews: A long time ago I stopped asking, "How do I make my horse do this?" Instead, I started asking, "What would help my horse understand?" That single shift changed the way I approach my training. My curiosity became a more powerful teacher than force. The more I watched, the more I realised behaviour wasn't something to force into boxes. It was information—the story the horse was trying to tell me. Every resistance has a reason. My goal for my horses is that we enjoy the work, and for me to ask questions so clearly and fairly that saying "yes" becomes the easiest answer for them. Producing horses to the highest level while having fun? Possible? Absolutely. Comment MINDSET if you'd like to learn more about the mindset that allows me to enjoy life with horses while still asking them the hardest questions of Grand Prix dressage. 🤍 Join our e-learning community — link in bio.
