The greatest thing you didn’t even remember packing! 📦 The White Duck Camp Blanket is one of those “set it and forget it” items that comes handy when you least expect it, like a chilly evening trying to watch a drone show in the park. This was my first time using it outside of camp and it was perfect! Big enough for two and kept us dry all night. Safe to say it earned its permanent spot in my trunk. 🚗

DANGME FESTIVALS SEASON 2026: DODOWA NGMAYEM FESTIVAL BONFIRE NIGHT In the video: An elder explains NGAMI, a Dangme word meaning “greeting.” He shares how Dangme people traditionally greet one another and explains the different greetings used in the morning, afternoon and evening. The elder also shares the traditional understanding of how these greetings came about and how they have been passed down from our ancestors through generations. Last night in Dodowa, within the Dangme Traditional Area of Sɛ (Shai), the people came together for Bonfire Night, a traditional gathering centred on storytelling, cultural education and the sharing of history. Around the bonfire, old tales and stories of the Sɛ (Shai) State are shared, keeping the memories and traditions of the ancestors alive while educating the younger generation and visitors about the rich culture and history of the land. It is a beautiful moment where elders share knowledge, stories are passed down, and the younger generation learns about the heritage of their people. Bonfire Night is a way of keeping Sɛ (Shai) history, traditions and cultural identity alive and passing them from one generation to the next. #DangmeFestivalsSeason2026 #DodowaNgmayemFestival #BonfireNight #Dodowa #Sɛ
