This is not CQB, this is driving force during an active shooter, they HEAR where shots are coming from and are moving to those shots. They don’t have time to worry about every nook and cranny when there is active killing going on.

If yall say this is “too fast” you really should see how delta forces clear buildings. They’re basically sprinting the whole time and WILL clear a building within minutes. Thats literally what they’re trained to do. Fast and efficient is a lot more affective than slow and dangerous. Faster you move, the slower your enemy reacts. Welcome to clearing 101

You people saying moving too fast have never done Active shooter training in the military or LE. In the navy we call it a blow through or modified blow through. Muzzle up through corners and doorways, and either blow past them, or shut them and keep pushing towards the gunshots. We’re not pie-ing corners and doorways when we know where the shooter is. Priority is to quickly stop the threat.

This is not deliberate CQB. This is movement to an active shooter. Much more akin to Hostage Rescue CQB. They are performing it absolutely correctly.

This is the “direct to threat” style of CQB. It’s for active shooters and ongoing threats inside a building, where you hear the shots from a specific area. There is also deliberate clearing of a building, where no active threat is happening or it’s unknown because of no shots being fired. That’s where you go room to room, inside each unless it’s a short room.

I think on summer break more departments need to be running drills like this in local schools 1 be prepared for the worst hope for the best 2 it keeps them familiar with their equipment and the schools layout… never be blind have a plan and always be effective

For all the tacticians on your couches this is a legit maneuver its known as rushing the gun and its 100% risking death but is used by officers in active shootings when you need to find and neutralize a threat fast and with aggression rather than slow methodical sweeps
