I have that exact fan and it doesn’t work well enough to be a sole source of cool air. My vans ac broke and she is still hot after a 10 minute drive. Saying this solely to save a child

Yk theres a button next to the a/c its the recirculation button you press that and everybody in the car is fresh IF you have a good working a/c in your car

Getting those sun shades for your window helps block a lot of it but these don’t seem safe In my opinion would if u hit a big bump or crash and it hits them hard in the face
