Then one of them whispered, “You’re awake.” I froze. “What?” The creature pointed behind me. I turned around. My friend was standing there. He looked confused. He asked why I was standing in the middle of the trampoline park. I looked around. Everything was normal again. Kids were jumping. Music was playing. People were laughing. I asked him where he had been. He said, “You disappeared.” Apparently, I had been standing there for almost an hour without moving. I told him about the black trampoline park. He laughed nervously. Then he stopped. Because he noticed my ICEE. It was still in my hand. Except the cup was completely empty. And there was a strange message written on the bottom. 30 MINUTES. We left immediately. That night, I couldn’t stop thinking about it. Then my phone buzzed. It was a video. I opened it. It showed me and my friend walking toward the snack bar. Then the video changed. The camera was somehow inside the black trampoline park. I was standing there alone. Ten dolphin people were behind me. All smiling. The timestamp said: 3:00 PM. I watched the video until the thirty-minute mark. Every creature suddenly stopped smiling. Then they all looked directly at the camera. One of them whispered, “He’s waking up.” The video ended. The next morning, my friend texted me. “Are you coming back to the trampoline park today?” I told him no.
