I prepped mine by leaving him with friends or family for a bit & telling him I will be picking him up. So when it was time for a half day pre k I told him I would pick him up & he wasn’t scared. I heard from his teachers that he was comforting other kids who were having a hard time 😭

This should be changed... I am happy that we didn't experience this with my son. My son was so very excited on his first day in school. My wife is an educator which is why my son was exposed and knowledgeable about schooling. We as Parents are the ones who will start to shape our children's behavior especially in the outside world.

He’s not “holding in his feelings.” When small children are away from their parents, once they see them again their mind goes back to the last time they saw you, which was dropping them off. He probably had a wonderful time 🥰🥰

Naalala ko nung nursery ako, 1st day of school 'yon, nagulat ako bakit nag-iiyakan mga kaklase ko nung iniwan na sila sa room, 'yun pala normal lang 'yon at maiiwan sila ng mga magulang nila, noon kasi hindi ako umiyak kasi sanay akong maiwan ng parents ko sa yaya due to their works, ang ginawa ko naki-iyak rin para hindi ako naiiba HAHAHAHA skl po guys.
