“I AM BEOWULF”

⃟ :

Who else was confused as a kid if this was a real movie or an animated movie

Nor Fett :

Beowulf was the best thing to come out of Zemeckis' CGI obsession.

Trooper :

Movie was tuff

SoBaked :

Unironically the early uncanny valley cgi adds so much to this movie, it’s feels like you’re stuck in a vision of one of your ancestors memories while tripping on psilocybin or something.

NOCTOWAN :

This movie made me go down a rabbit hole and I figured out that one of the characters in this movie; name is hrothgar, whom is a direct inspiration for high hrothgar in Skyrim, obviously they based it on the poem and not the movie but I thought it was interesting lol

Jacks_65🇮🇶🇧🇦 ١٤٢٣ه :

We studied this epic in the English literature class

James Baker :

I watched this as a kind and thought it was real life actors, the animation was so good for its time.

iwnfhyiatm :

Imagine being 100s of feet in the air covered in 🩸 yelling your own name loud enough for the Gods and your ancestors to witness your glory. Then he just dove back into the water to finish the race. This movie is incredible, I’ll never forget watching it for the first time as a kid
