The message in this video came from a woman who said the information I put out gave her the confidence to visit Turkey. Not that it was useful. That it gave her confidence. Because she had a reason not to go in the first place, and something shifted that reason. That is what actually happens when someone goes into Antalya knowing how the city works: which neighborhoods are safe to walk alone at night, what a fair taxi fare looks like, how public transport works without a data plan, where to eat without walking into a tourist trap. That knowledge is what replaces the fear, not reassurance from strangers on Reddit. Antalya is one of the most visited cities in Turkey and one of the most misrepresented in English language travel content. Most of what exists online was written about Istanbul, not Antalya, and most of it is years old. This account covers Antalya specifically, from someone who lives here full time.
