I am happy to see this. I have a lot of Korean friends here in the US and I care deeply about them. Many of them have told me that people in Korea can be judged very harshly, and bullying can be a serious problem. I know this doesn’t represent everyone, but this particular culture of harsh judgment and online bullying needs to change. We’re all human. We all go through struggles that others can’t see. The least we can do is treat one another with respect, kindness, and compassion. As for the players, they gave everything they had. No one goes into a match wanting to lose. Their effort deserves appreciation, not abuse.
